I have been trying to change out the trans fluid and filter. i have found the filter and everything to go with it. What i cant figure out is how to add the fluid after i am done changing the filter. i went to the dealership and they said something about having to have the car running while adding the fluid? can someone help me with this.

it fills by use of the sight plug on trans like an old manual trans or a differential it needs to be level and running to prevent overfilling

Is the sight plug the 1/8 pressure test fitting. If not where is the sight plug. If the car has to be running, does the car have to be in drive to have the wheels turning to fill it?
