I changed all my belts in my '99 because one of them was showing some cracks. Now when at idle you get a squeeking noise as soon as you give the car some gas the squeeking noise goes away? I don't recall this happening before? Could I have gotten a bad belt?

Did you use Goodyear gatorback belts? These are the best belts to remedy the squeak problem.

There is stuff you can spray on the belts that will make the noise go away?

Good to hear as this is the belt I bought for my LS conversion for my 70. Only squealing I want to hear is me when I mash the gas.

i had a somewhat similar problem, when i started my 2000. it would
squeal when it started, but would stop when i hit the belt and belt tensioner with lube. took it back to dealer, they replaced the belt tensioner, and i haven't had any squeal since then.
