In the end it is what you prefer .I replaced the rotors and pads last year on my '98 coupe. I went with ATE slotted rotors and Satisfied Pro Ceramic pads. Great combination. The rotors have a unusual eliptical slot and the "hats" and the vanes are plated so they don't rust. Look great and perform well. I bought everything from thr Tirerack. Hope this helps!
