I just made a post in the C5 area about my paint fading. Are there waxes that are bad for the car? Why does paint fade? What is the best wax to use? Thank you.

Fading is usually caused from the paint sitting out in the sun. Wax may help it come back to life a little but if you really want it you look good it will need polished. Take in to a good detailer or invest in a polisher, cutting pads and polishes. They are a lot of good detailing forums if you want to learn about polishing your car. After polishing apply a good was or paint sealant to keep it protected.

Sword hit the nail on the head! You are going to need to do some polishing in order to restore the shine in your paint.
