Anybody running one of these kits on their C5? Just bought a 99 M6 vert with the Vortech V-1 CSC kit w/methanol injection.

I like knowing what I got and the Blowerworks site brags a lot but doesn't help too muck in determining what my system consists of. Or even if everthing is working properly.
My boost gauge shows only 4psi at 6000 rpm in 2nd. Boost leak? Slipping belt? The blower has a cog belt, so I doubt that. Maybe even blower tolerances getting loose? The car's got 113K on it. Don't know when the system was installed, but the motor doesn't smoke, doesn't ping. and runs pretty strong. Feels like 400 at the wheels.

Any Carroll info appreciated! Thanks.

I have heard nothing on them. From the kit you are describing with vortech head unit, meth, sounds liek the kit was intended to run more than 4psi of boost. Do you have a air to fuel ratio gauge? If so are you running rich? Lean? I would think you have a leak some where. Did it always make 4psi?

I've heard of the Carroll superchargers before from a fellow forum member, but i don't think they're very favorably reviewed by the corvette community. Too many blowers that work better on the Vettes.:burnout:
Your pulley size might be limiting your boost level, but since there's not a lot of information on these units, it's hard to tell what size you would need to achieve X amount of boost. :yoda:

Carroll Supercharging Co was for the most part a Whipple brand Supercharger installer they have been around for many years here in NJ.
checking for a website for them comes up to a advertisement link and the phone # is non working probably safe to say they are OOB.

Carroll Supercharging is pretty much non existant, but blowerworks sell replacement parts for the Carroll Kits as I understand it.

There was some headaches associated with some of the Carroll set ups, but nothing that shouldnt be able to be solved. Where are you located?

BTW, that headunit should be able to push well more than 4 lbs.
