Jim 03-25-2007, 06:41 PM 1984 rear hatch will not open with switch, is there any way to open it manually or can you please tell me an easy fix ..ie relay fuse..there is a button in glove box but can find no other release buttons in vehicle... i appreciate your input Jim hollywood 04-10-2007, 08:11 AM im not sure but maybe your Vette has a second botton on the driverside door.just open the driver door and see if theres a switch there.it should be right there on the seam of the driver door below the latch.it should be on the door itself. so open the driver door have the seam face you and it should be a black botton. my dads 91 has one and so dose my 96.... Happydad 04-10-2007, 04:52 PM On my 86 there is a release cable under the rear carpet in the back by the hatch lock...you have to pull the carpet back a little but if 84's have it you'll see it..I found mine when I replaced the carpet:D | |
