I think these look bitchen and don't look to hard to install??? Has anyone installed these? How do you remove the old flip up head lights? All the wiring harnesses the same or will I need to rewire? Thanks

I just saw a set in one of my mags. I would bet they are pretty straight forward on the install side. Its removing the old that I have no idea about.

Just found the ones I was talking about. Corvette garage has a set here. You might want to see if body work is needed to make these work.

Do they get installed in the OEM light housing? I think that the lights that are on the new Vettes are great as they are. What are the benefits of changing them other than the looks?

My understanding is that the LeMans style headlight system is basically "plug-'n'-play", though it may take a few hours. The advantage, in my mind, is that don't lose the aerodynamics that you do when you pop-up the stock headlamps. Minor deal probably, but aesthetics probably comes into play too. I like the look of the stock headlights, but only when they are DOWN.

I'd be interested in em if you could paint the inside surround the same as the body color. I've seen em on EBay in black and chrome.

When you get your set Hitman, see if they come apart... I took my kid's 3000GT headlights apart with a hairdryer.
