Got Boost?

I have an 2005 with a Maggie 112 and might be getting a Vararam soon. I have been looking at different NOS systems and not sure whether I'll be going with a one that sprays in the intake or if I will spend the extra money for a director port set up. My question is between the Maggie and lets say I go with a 150 to 200 shot of NOS will the stock motor be able to handle it? Are there some basic parts that should be replaced first to run both?

Got Boost-
I'm getting the Maggie 112 here next month, I also have the Vararam intake system. I will also be installing NOS through the air intake, with a 50 to 75 HP to play it safe. If you go more, let me know how it runs. I do have a question or two for you, if you wouldn't mind? Since you have the Maggie, would you do anything different, get something that you dont have now, change gears, lower the vette, headers, gauges, etc and what other MODS do you have? I would like to keep the C6 together as long as I can. I'm trying to get all the info I can, so I would appreciate any info you might like to share.
Thanks

Yeah it makes sense to play it safe. I only have wheels (that I don't like any more) and exhaust. I have thought about gears and putting some gauges in the car. You know how that works. My car is lowered, I have been reading up on different shocks that work best with lowered cars. Its all a learning curve and I'm trying to not learn the hard way.

Ther are a couple factors you will want to address to run upwards of a 200 shot on top of the maggie.
1) fuel system....either an intank pump capable of supporting 800 to 1000whp....or a dedicated fuel system for the nitrous kit. We have fuel systems for tboth the C5 and C6 vettes.
2) I would also suggest building the shortblock to be able to handle dual poweradders. I am assuming you will be in the 700+ range and the stock bottom end is not going to like that very much.
As far as the kit its self....either a plate or spray bars will work fine. As far as the direct port, I would need to look at some pictures of the intake to make sure we won't run into any issues.

Ray,
What are your thoughts on a 100 hp or less dry shot, sprayed into the MAF?

Dry works fine on the LSx platform. As long as you have the ability to tune the car for proper A/F and timing I see no big difference between dry or wet.
As stated before about the fuel system, if you want to run a dry shot you will need to make sure both the fuel pump and the injectors can support the needed HP.
