On a stock C6 2007 is there any way to make the car sound a little more sporty without replacing the muffler system ?

You could put a set of headers on it, if your looking for a nice sporty sound that isn't to over board... I would recommend Corsa Sport 3.5".

To alter the sound you will need to swap out at least the axle back system (muffler). You may want to go to: http://www.corsaperf.com/c6_z06.htm to listen to sound clips. Good luck!
