This is my first Vette, it should arrive Mid-April (and I can't wait). It's a 2008 black on black 6-speed auto with a 2:73 rear end. I've been riding an 04 Mustang Gt Convirtable for the last few years and have added all of the possible bolt-ons. The question is??? What type of exhaust should I install, as well as air intake. (that will be it for the first year)
On the Mustang I had Flowmaster Cat-Backs and with an X-pipe. The sound was perfect. Not too loud at highway speed but when you punched it, it growled and I'm looking for something similar, not too loud but agreesive enough to know that it's not stock.
The other question, can you shoe horn the same size tires from the Z06 on to the stock rims of the coupe or are the rims to the Z06 wider.
