I don't have alot of that green stuff and was told that chips are reasonably priced and you get some nice result from. A co worker who owns an import was telling me this and said there has to be companies that make aftermarket chips to put in Vettes is this correct?

Late model vehicle are generally flash based, so chips no longer apply, but there are several methods available to reflash th PCM with a performance file.
The most popular method would be the handheld tuners like our Diablosport Predator, which will tune the car in about 5 minutes, in your driveway.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks

Yeah count your blessings. My C4 uses prom chips that have to be changed any time i want to change my ignition/fuel curve. Kinda forces you to do several mods at once so you dont have a drawer full of old chips like me.

A custom dyno tune will only cost you ~$100 more than a hand held programmer and it will be tuned to *your* engine. Well worth the extra $$.
