more info to confuse this sublect.
try cleaning the turn signal socket with rubbing alcohol and q-tips.
i was given this advice by the guy i was trying to buy the by-pass cable from???
he lost a sale and fixed my turn signal at the same time.
i don't know if this will fix your problem, i'm just saying....:toilet:

Why rubbing alcohol? What's it supposed to do? If there's corrosion starting in the socket, I would think something like baking soda would be a better choice.

don't know why,just know it worked.
the socket didn't seem too dirty and the q-tip didn't seem too soiled, but the turn signal worked as soon as i replaced the blub.
