I hace a 99 C5 convertable i would like to increase the HP but still be able to keep it as a daily driver. What type of heads and cam would you recommend for someone on a tight budget?

If you can give me some ideas I may be able to pick up somthing used.

What kind of HP are you looking for in your DD?
What kind of manners do you want it to have?
Are you going to the track/dragstrip with it at all?
All important questions to ask yourself before you continue.

Generally speaking though, a ported set of LS6 heads and a mild cam is your least expensive route for a daily driver. Don't forget the headers and CAI too! And last but certainly not least, a good tune.
