You have a few different options that will work for you depending on what you want to spend. Kumho makes a good tire that is believe is a harder rubber compound than for example Good Years and Michelin tires. I would recommend going to www.tirerack.com (http://www.tirerack.com) to get excellent pricing on all sorts of different makes.

I agree Tire Rack is a great resource. Alot of guys have been very happy with Goodyear GS D3s... FWIW I'll getting those when I burn my runcraps down far enough!

A Friend Of Mine Purchased A Set Of 4 New Mitch. Tires For His 2003 Vett. His Electronic Tire Sensor System Has Quit Working. After 4 Days In His Local Dealership And 2 New Sets (8) Sensors The Service Manager Tells Him The System Only Works With Goodyear Runflats. My Wife Has A Gm Vehicle With The Same Type System We Have Had 3 Diffrent Sets Of Tires (3) (mnfg.) No Problems. Have Any Of You Heard Of The Runflat Only Deal? Thanks John K

LOL nope! Gonna have to throw the BS flag on that one! That is totally absurd! The idiots probably don't know how to reset the sending units with a magnet... Tell your buddy to go get his service done somewhere else FAST!

The industry standard which everyone compares themselves to is the Michelin PS2. Non run flat version. More expensive than some other choices.

Standard equip on Ferrari, Porche 911 and most supercars. Not much will outperform. Also quiet ride.

Michelin.... great tire, it would be nice that they made them in Z06 size! Are there any rumors if Michelin will get on this band wagon?
