I recently went to the local Chevy dealer to have a spare set made. Blank key with pill was $20.00 plus $2.00 to cut. Forget how much the Entry/Gas/console key was, but not much.

It is wise to measure or get measured the resistance of the VATS pellet ( could be one of 15 # ) in the key so you have that value on hand when / should you require new keys and have to order the blank

I got a spare at the local key shop for around 8 bucks .It is suposed to be better than oem key . Acording to them of course .

Got a dupe OEM set at a local locksmith, he ohmed the chip, and was about $25 for both complete.

not too bad, think about some of these other people that pay $100's!
