In 75 I got my first new Vette coupe and thought I'd keep it for life, three years later I sold it when we got married and found out what life was really all about.
Our second, an 87 roadster was purchased with a bit more skepticism. We did keep it longer though, and just recently sold it for the 02 roadster.
When asked if I'll keep the 02 for life I simply reply, there's always another out there waiting to be discovered and just smile.

I usually keep my toys for 4 or 5 years, then move onto something newer.
I have done this with many Harleys and Boats.
I get a little bit board after a few years and want to start over.:burnout:

Me too. I've had mine for 22 years now and I don't see me getting rid of it soon. It's like an old friend.

Never, for when the day that I pass away my sweet granddaughter will be the new owner and there are so many special memories of us cruising in my sweet vette over the years and I know she will take special care and love her like I have .
