I found a good price on Z06 brakes, however it doesn't come with the brakelines? Any idea where I can get a set?

I would be very careful about upgrading to Z06 brakes for a C6(assume that's your version). They are inferior to the C5 version and almost all road racers I know have opted when possible for other aftermarket brakes. Ironic since Chevy does a good deal of chest thumping about how great the Z06 brakes are.

Specifically, a good friend had his Z06 brakes overheat and fail going into a turn at 120mph. He's lucky he didn't total the car and himself. He drives on Brembo now. I have 3 or 4 other guys with similar close calls or severe brake fade on the track.

I realize that you may not track the car or do HPDEs but I wouldn't spend the money for an inferior product.

If you want to go with aftermarket brakes there are lots of great choices. The best bang for the buck is Wilwood. East Coast Superchargnig has the best prices. Stop Tech, Brembo are also first rate but pricier.

Your would want to get the Wilwood 6 piston big brake kit, with stainless steel lines for the fronts and the 4 piston kit for the rears. I believe ECS sells the full set(f and r) for approx $3,200. Install will run about $700.

Don't care for the stock Z06 brakes, I've had a variety of problems with these, I agree with tom go with a good aftermarket manufacture. In most production cars, stock brakes are usually where they start cutting corners in cost!
