I was just wandering how the c5 z06's do against the 03-04 cobras my buddy has an 03 thats putting down about 400 to the wheels. how would i do against him in a stock 02 z06? hes wanting to put money on it but im not too sure

I'll go out on the limb....

Here's what I've gathered from ACTUAL drag times. Those Cobras are typically running in the mid 12s (12.5, 12.6)and your Z will run in the low 12s (12.3, 12.4). Assuming both are stock and driven VERY well, it's going to be damn close but you should squeak by!

I will say that will be a very close race. Anyone going to be recording the race? Post up the video.

well if you guys are saying it would be a close race stock, then i will have no way. He is putting down a little more than 400 to the wheels. but, after i do a nice h/c setup then we will see if he wants to talk. i would go ahead and do it for fun but he is wanting to put $500 bucks on it and wont go without the $$
