Had this happen with another car once leading me to believe one of the wheel sensors malfunction.
Read you codes and monitor it for a while to see if it happens again.

The C5's computer is sensitive to shocks (like potholes and RR tracks) Sometimes the shock of a rough road can cause a temporary disconnect of the computer to the sensors.

Happened to me once backing out of the driveway .Never came on again.I wouldn't worry about it unless it comes on and stays on

do you still have any message on your display? if so, exactly what does it say? don't leave anything out!! also, pull your codes. see which codes are current. besides your wheel sensors, you may also have a problem with your ebcm, not uncommon with c5's but a fairly easy problem to fix.

If it's reoccurring it could be your steering position sensor (as it was in my case) or a wheel speed sensor (as has happened to others).

Pray for a wheel sensor, the SPS requires a majority-of-the-dash removal.

Very true, I have hit speed bumps too fast before and that light will come on. Then when I turn the car off and back on again the light is gone!
