My radio in my 1991 hasn't worked in... a long time. I found someone who has the exact factory radio for sale out of another 1991 Vette and he is asking $90 for it plus shipping. Its not rebuilt or anything, just has been pulled from a wrecked '91. He says the radio works and will give a 30 day warranty? I have checked and shipping is going to run me $17, so about $107 is what I'm going to be giving this guy.

Is this a good deal?

If you want fasctory that is fine. However for the same $$ you can get a new Afrermarket headunit. About $150 will get you a really nice one.

I agree; If you want a factory appearance the junkyard price is definately better than what the dealership will rape you for. Myself if I'm forced to replace any part I try to ensure the replacement is the best peice i can put in

I didn't know that you could get aftermarket for that amount. I thought aftermarket radios where like a few hunder plus. Whats a good aftermarket radio brand under $200?

thanks

I have a Bose that will work for you. It is out of a 91 and guaranteed to work. I had it tested at a radio shop a few months ago. $35 plus shipping. PM me if you want it here is a picture...Still has the plastic on the face. It was new and never installed or used...
