:confused: I have a 1984 Corvette. It has the stock engine, which i would like to remove and install an LT1. Does anyone know a good place to get a used LT1 and if there are any problems that I will run into when doing the swap? I have a very good knowledge of cars, so I think that it should be somewhat feasible if i have all the wiring and computer. My biggest problem right now is finding an LT1 and tranny to buy.

I would start at savage yards, look on ebay, even auto classifieds?

thanx i have been looking on ebay mostly and tried finding one at other websites but no luck yet on a complete engine with wiring and accessories.

Try hawksthirdgen.com they have a lot of engines, transmissions, & harnesses. Mostly for Camaro's & Firebird/Trans Am,s though but they would probably be able to hook you up with an LT1, Tranny & Harness.
