I have a 1975 stingray and want to swap the engine. So far i've found two engines that fit perfectly into it without any fuss. those are the 385 Fastburn turn key engine and the HT383. I would like to have a lot of horse power but more so acceleration.

Do a google search " HT 383 500ft-lbs in 6 easy steps" This'll make your choice easy. They give vehicle LBS. axle ratios for 1/4 times.

i read the tests they took the crate motor HT383 which was respectable in power, put an extra couple grand in it and got it to 463 HP/500ftlbs or you can just go to Patriot Performance and get their 450HP motor for the starting price of the fasrburn
