On my 69 vette, I have put a new wiper switch on but the wipers still will not run on the low and high settings. It will run when washer button is held in. Anyone have input about what might be wrong?

I am having the same issue with my 79 vette but I don't bother with it much because it rarely rains in South Texas...

Uhm... I thought possibly it was the wrong switch installed or the cabling was cut or damaged after so long it hasn't been used since mine was parked for around 7-10 yrs...

Idk... as soon as I found out I'll def. let you know...
