I need some input if you have it. How much would a crate 427 engine cost? Also what would the cost be for a built 427 with premium internals? If you have the information, what would the power difference be from the 427 crate motor and that of a built up 427?

For a fully built motor you could easily get over $25,000. Crate motors are much less.

You can find good short blocks for around $5000, yes you can spend to the sky's limits too for a motor. Really depends on what you are looking for.
