I've been working on relocating the fuel door swith and I wanted another red light on the Traction Control plate..... sooooo after searching for aa long time I finally found a lit switch that would work... It's a trunk release switch from a 2000 Cougar that I got off of EBay for .99.

Here's how it looks installed. I'm going to black out the "trunk" and maybe add a black dot where the actual fuel door is on the Vette...

And here's how it looks lit up...

It looks good I like it, and much easier to get to then under the console cover. Lets see some more pictures of it when you have the truck lid blacked out and the black dot on the side where the fuel door is.

I'll post a pic when I get the painting done. Yeah I've always hated having to raise that console lid everytime I pulled into the gas station! Now to fabricate a mini Lambo Door Hinge for the fuel door! LOL

I'm kidding about the Lambo hinge BTW....

Hmmm Well, maybe I'm kidding!

Honestly, the new button only took maybe two hours to install, took me about two hours to replace the green LED in it for a Red one though.

Now getting the Traction button to be that bright with an LED... well that's another story! I had to drill a hole into the back of the button and insert the LED into the button. I got a few pics in my Interior Lighting Mod alblum of that... I'm still uploading pics of the whole Mod as I have time...

I should tell everyone that when I have to Mod a part like this I always buy a used one and retain the stock un-modded part to re-install later if need be... I even have my wagon wheels! lol
