Hey Dee Dee, try Acetone???? Might free up the sticky adhesive. Goo Gone might also lossen. Moving your thread to C5 section, get more responses.

You could try applying goo gone and use fishing line to move behind the letters to remove.

DON'T USE ACETONE!

I ruined my father in law's paint job with Acetone when trying to remove a molding strip years ago.

A hair dryer will soften up the glue enough to get them loose.Use something like a plastic scraper to pry them out

Dee

DO NOT use acetone.
It will ruin the paint!!!!
Use the above method via fishing line OR dental floss to get under it. Once removed, you could use lighter fluid (naptha) or goo gone to remove the residual glue.
