Anyone here with the white lettering on their tires? I have seen alot of C3's with them, but no C4's.

It doesn't really go with the C4 appearance, that looks good on the older vettes.

Not on the current car, but 13 years ago, I had them on my '76

Also, back in the 80s, they were the"preferred" style.

We used to call 'em Billboards, because the lettering was so big. Now where's my bellbottoms? :woowoo:

I agree, they really only work on cars of older vintage. They lower profile tires don't do it justice.

Currently only have them on my 01 Dakota 4x4.
Not on my 87 & 02 Vettes, or the 2000 Grand Prix.
Had them on my 69 Charger, 72 Cuda, 74 Monte Carlo, 75 Vette, 78 Dodge Street Van, 87 Dakota 4x4 , 98 Durango 4x4.
Those were some great years!

Wide whitewalls on a C1
Narrow whitewalls on a C2
Raised white letters on a C3
Blackwalls on C4, C5 & C6.

I think duplicolor makes a paint .

All four of them say NO HUNTING on the sidewalls.:rofl:

Ive been actually throwing around the idea of using that duplicolor paint on my tires! :D If and when I do it... Ill take pics :D
