Anybody know anything about this item?CORVETTE C5, C6 OIL CATCH CAN, the idea is to stop oil vapor from getting back into the intake through the PCV valve is it worth it ?? thanks

They do end up catching a bit of oil and they look pretty cool too!

I bought one for my C5(which my brother now owns and i maintain for him LOL) they work great and like others said do catch a lot of oil, i need to get on for my C6 now.

EDIT: i tried posting a pic of it but only have 8 posts so far. :hehehe: :hehehe:

hey Rob I see you have ac delco battery Ive heard on this site they leak better keep eye on it.

How long did it take to fill the can up half way?

Seems like Chevy should be putting these catch cans on at the factory!

I check it about 3 times per oil change interval thats 5,000mi +or- it also depends how hard you drive it that will fill it up quicker.

im aware of the history of delco batts, i think thanks for the tip,mine is a AGM type that is not prone to leaking or they changed the post design not sure exactly, but that is the original batt
5 1/2 years old also trickled charged w/ a battery tender FWIW.
