Hi Everyone, got a noise and not sure weather to take my door apart. My 01 convertable is tight but my drivers window a little wobbly (little bit). Some times when i stop i here something sliding from back to front on the inside of the door and when i drive off it slides back again. Window works great. Sounds like a small pc of metal sliding on a track. I do get some air noise at high speed and a few drops of rain come in near the top front when the windows shut. Any thought much appreciated.

the window sits in a track that is attached to a arm sounds like rivet broke and track is sliding back and forth across bottom of glass. if track comes away from glass it could fall into door better check:thumbsup:

I haven't noticed any noise from mine.
I'll pay closer attention next drive to see if I can hear anything going on in there.

Really appreciate your comments and will take the door panel off and take a look see.

Takes 2 minutes to get the door panel off, best to take a look see and find whats rolling around.
Pop the cover off from behind the door handle.
Unscrew the two torx screws. GENTLY use a prying tool (or large screwdriver wrapped with a rag) to go around the edge of the door and pop the retainers loose. Raise door panel off top ledge. Unhook electrical connections.
