Most of the Vertical/Lambo Door Kits I've seen on the web require "some modification/cuttting of the body". I found a Kit at Dream Car Custom that is "pure bolt-on", designed specifically for the C5/C6; no cutting or body-mods required....the price is right too! QUESTION: Has anyone out there installed this Kit from Dream Car Custom on their C5 and if so, can I get some feed back about installation an daily operation. Examples: was installation as easy as shown in the videos on the website; can you raise the door vertically without full swinging the door open/outward or will the door scrape/touch the body? You will have to cut the inside of the fender so the hinge will go up

FYI; these don't function exactly like real Lambo doors; they don't lift straight up. You have to open the door the conventional way first... for about 6-8 inches; only then can you start lifting up.

i have the vertical door kit on mine and like the fact that i can still use the door the normal way.
having to lift the door everytime gets old quick.

Looks nice, now with the Lambos you can almost lift the door with a finger right?

IMHO.... keep them on lambo's...... the LSD door kit is the only one worth buying I have heard. I believe it's around 3 or 4 g's......
