Check out smokin's black Vette: http://www.smokinvette.com/ourcorvettes/

They have a wing.

Pic of ACP world challenge wing going on my track car. Wing needs to be used in conjunction with front splitter, else the additional down force on the rear will un-balance the car.

I think that if it is done tastefully it can be very nice looking! It is a like it or hate it mod, but as I have always stated that if it is your car do whatever you want to it and don't worry what others think of it!!

I agree. Its your car and if thats what you want then go for it, but if your worried about other people calling you a ricer then dont do it.

Hi smokinvette2, I look at your car and want to know company that make wing on back? Thank you very much.

Also if you don't mind how is it fastened to your car?

The world challenge wing is shown I believe on one of LG's cars.

I wouldn't recommend installing that wing on a street car. First, I think it would look a little ridiculous (ergo: overkill), plus good ones are significantly more expensive.

The large wings are designed to produce significant amounts of down force at speeds usually in excess of 75 mph. ACP's wing can produce approx 800 lbs of down force, but only while at triple digit speeds(not likely to help on the street). The wings also come with micro adjustments that allow the wing's angle of attack to be adjustment while sorting out the cars suspension settings (on track).

If a track car can get lightened to about 2,600 lbs the 600+ lbs of down force from the front splitter and the 800 lbs in the rear can make a real difference in handling.

PS. One addl word of caution. The supports for a large wing need to ideally be tied into the car's chassis. That amount of down force at high speed can easily rip a wing off. No fun to have a wing cranking down the track and 100+ mph by itself!
