Column Lock inop came up on my DIC, GM already did the recall on my vette in 2001. So its not covered again.... its being fixed now. I tried the column lock bypass and it still said it. I think the problem is in the BCM..Any suggestions????

Well you've got me confused! lol You said it's being fixed rght now, but want advice on what the problem could be?
When you got the inop DIC message was the steering wheel locked or could yo still drive?
There have been numerous reports about the recall fix still acting up, it's pretty much 50/50 as to whether or not to have the recall fix preformed. Owners that do not opt for the recall fix are installing the aftermarket CLB (Column Lock Bypass)
BTW Where's Bensalem at? I'm in DuBois...

Do not bring it to the dealership for the recall or anything to do with the locking up issues, they will only put back what was failing in the first place, so basically you will eventually have the issue again... read about it and you will find this is accurate information.
