I have sat in all the generations and I think that my C4 seats are one of the comfiest seats. What do you think?

I agree. They are soft and you slip sort of deep into them. I have mine just re-leathered as well

I've only gotten in a C4(mine) and a C3 when I was 8...but I will say my Vette is more comfortable than any other car I've been in.

Mine are comfy because the previous owner was 450lbs, or somewhere close to that, and the seats all bulged out. I like the C5/6 seats too though, their not bad.

I could be wrong and I hope You guys will correct me if I'm wrong but, wasnt the C4 seats voted the most comfortable seats in Vettes? I would take My C4s over any seats, I have sat in all of them but the C2.

My 84 has lovely little bucket seat, they are pretty confy, but I gotta admit I forget about them when I hear that V8 roar which is why I bought it!

Yes except they sit a little high when I put new foam in.

It sounds like one or two cylinders are skipping or dead...Check the plugs and wires close. I couldn't see the little bit of smoke to tell if it is fuel too rich or oil burning...Actually smell is the only true test on that and it might clear when the skip is taken care of. Glad to hear it is up and running! Good luck.

Looks and sounds good, except for the slight miss and that miss could be the reason its running a bit rich, I saw the smoke You talked about, and it looks like its rich. see if You have plugs fouled out or plug wires leaking. Hope this helps some.:burnout:

How long did your car sit for? Probably just needs a good tune-up if it ran fine before it was stored.

I like the seats in my 85 vette better then the ones in my 08 Z06. I think they look better, are more confortable and are made better.

I had them done by an upholsterer.
The eblem I just took a photo and with these new ebroidery machines today, they simply scan the picture and it ebrois it on the leather.

I totally agree.They hold you in place when doing competative driving.I have a C5 now and the seats aren't as nice

In my 94 the seats are just not comfortable at all, and you can forget about a long trip and no im not a big guy.

The only problem I have besides getting in and out is the controle switch for the lumbar stuff irritates the side of my right leg. But they are way mor comfortable than my old 80 model
