: Template for Z06 brake duct?

Just picked ordered and received Z06 brake ducts and there was no template for cutting the hole for these things? Anyone have?

This would be something I bet you would need to get from the company that sold you those.

Thanks so much! Just out of curiousity, what do you suggest cutting this out with?

I used a dremel tool with a cutoof wheel. You may need a few of them since they break rather easy.Then i used a sanding drum for the dremel for the corners. Take your time and make sure the vent cover lays nice and flat on the rocker after you cut.

You can drill all of your corners with a unibit and then play "connect the dots". This will allow you to make mostly straight cuts and still have a radius in the corners. If you use an airsaw, a finer blade will be be less "grabby".:cheers:

Dremel. Then sanding drum. I have done a few and this makes the least mess. Just take you time . The 1st one takes about a hour the 2nd 10 minutes.:cheers:
