any body ever convert th350 to 700r4 OD trans? ordered one from Monster transmissions for my 81 to go behind my 500ho 383 :burnout: should be impressive

Is longer , have to move trans mount and shorten driveshaft. Also need conversion bracket for carb to operate the TV cable.
TV cable operates the trans; is not a kickdown as on older trans. Set TV cable wrong and you torch trans

yeah, lot of modification brackets, driveshaft,crossmember, cable , shifter detent and cable mtg. ALL DONE NOW nice! not a job for beginners

Its a lot of work. Bow Tie Overdrives has all the parts you will need to make the swap. T.V cable is super important if you dont adjust it right it you will kill the tranny first time driving it around the block. I have pulled trannys for customers because they tryed to do it them self and drove it with out checking the presser and kept driving it when they could not even feel it shift lol. No temp gauge no anything just throw it in and hope for the best and then pay me to fix it lol.

its all done several weeks now got it from Monster Transmissions TV cable required a few adjustments , but it will light tires in 2nd and break them at 3rd gear
