I did a quick detail on my old vette today (had to make sure I was done before the Gator's game). I ran out of garage space so it's been sitting in my enclosed car trailer for the last year. It had a little mold on the seats but it washed right off. The car is all original. The paint on all the fiberglass looks like new. The paint on the front and rear bumpers is starting to get little cracks. It looks like I will need to get the bumpers painted before long. Hopefully they will be able to match the rest of the paint. It's been a great car with very few problems in 25 years.

When I pulled it out of the trailer yesterday it had 32,985 miles on the clock.

The interior is all original as well as the rest of the car. The only thing you can see in the pictures that's not original is the tires.

The interior is excellent! Especially the seat leather, center console lid, steering wheel, and door sill pads. The whole interior!!!!!
Paint & wheels are shiny & new looking. Watch our what you use on the front and rear bumper covers. They do not have the clear coat and cleaner wax will dull the surfaces! The top of my rear bumper was very dull. I just sold my 87 convertible last spring after 7 years. Believe me, I only wish it had been in the fine condition yours is in. Great job, beautiful car!

Don't know if you would ever consider selling it or how soon, but if you did it could be worth a little more without repainting the bumpers since everything else is original. I don't know if Vettes as new as C4s are like older classic cars, but I've heard on those televised auctions that some people would rather pay more for complete originals with a few imperfections than a perfect one that's had work done. That's probably more for older cars, but still something to consider. Of course I'd never sell it anyway if I were you but that's my opinion, and if you plan to keep it then yeah maybe paint the bumpers. Looks very nice though! What region you live in?

Thanks for information. I have been considering selling the car only because I don't have room for it. I purchased the car new. I still have all the original paper work and window sticker. The car spent the 1st half of it's life in Michigan where it was stored during the winter. I also always had a company car so I only drove it in nice weather on the weekends. The car has been in southwest Florida rest of the time. I currently have 7 vehicles. The old vette does not get driven much especially since I ran out of garage space and have been keeping it in my enclosed car trailer. I still start it up all the time and keep it maintained and detailed.
