Looking for a decent big brake upgrade for Z06, not looking to spend $10k on a set of brakes. $4-5k tops! Any more than that and the wife will have me sleeping outside with the car!

Thanks

If you don't road race or take your car to HPDEs new brakes will have zero impact on performance (ergo it's totally for bling).

If you are interested in brakes for the track there are many choices: Wilwood, Stoptech, Brembo

I have owned and raced on both Brembo and Wilwood. Brembo's are approx $6,000 vs. $4,000 for Wilwood. I would never consider going with anythings other than Brembo Gt's. They are in a class by themselves.

If you can't afford the Brembo I would keep your Z06 brakes.

Conclusion: Do it right or don't do it.

Good luck.
