I Might Be Crazzy But ......

I Have a 2009 Corvette Cp. 6 Speed Manual ...Standard Top.. Jet Stream Blue.... With Fac Nav Unit...... Z51 Package.....Dual Mode Exhaust..(NPP).... Factory Two Tone Seats ..With double stitched Embroidyery Titainium and gray ... Chrome 5 Spoke Wheels....Also has 3M Protection film behind the wheel openings...along the upper and lower doors and across the 3rd eye top section. This is a "3LT Car with Heads Up display also and has a transferable extended warranty for another 6 years TO 56 k MILES BUMPER TO BUMPER WHICH IS TRANSFERABLE AT TIME OF SALE

The car sits in my garage and had 1531 miles two weeks ago. I drove to BG and back for the 15th celibration. It now has 3351 miles. I took delievery 9/11/09 from Kerbeck in Atlantic city. I even have the Factory Build sheet right from GM. I have driven the car once a week over the last year and then back to the Battery tender and under the cover. The 65 has been out 10 times more then the 09.

Now here's the crazy Part.. I also have a 65 with a 502... and a HUMMER H3... When I was in BG I missed my 65 and realized I enjoyed the 65 more then the 09. So now crazy me wants to sell the 09 and buy a HUMMER H2 and dump the 09 and the H3...

The question now is...what do I sell the 09 for. I've hearing all kinds of crazy retails... Maybe some of you dealers or Private guys could ball park me a reasonable Retail to private person Price.... Now no funny stuff like a $1.59...

What do you think??

I won't call you crazy but you will take a major hit on it. I have the same car, color and everything except for the Z51 package and I had heard / seen they are going in the high 30's to low 40's on re-sale. I hope i'm wrong because I don't want to think my car with the same milage as your car and mine is a month newer could have lost that much in less than a year.

You did take a major hit thanks to GM offering a rebate on a new 09. I bought mine super low and got a very low price...how ever I took a hit like every one else ..just not as bad. But did make out very well as I own both the rides free and clear.

The Z-51 adds a few moe bucks But I here what your saying , and you are correct the prices have come down due to GM offeringa rebate on 09 Vettes.

How ever.. I sold the 09 and the HUMMER in a two-fer down south and made out very well. I'll be picking up my New 09 HUMMER H2 Next week.

The prices I have been seeing that they are selling for have been Low... $44K to $48K on the net after alot of research. In this area Contie's in Vinland NJ tops them out at around $44K before his commission with the 1500-to 3300 miles and equipped lile mine. I also have the optional seat trim.

I did do better thu a dealer down south for both rides as they are both loaded. I got a good deal on the H2 as they are trying to move them out as this might be the last year for the H2.

Not all areas of the USA are the same in retail Corvette prices. Dealers in Rich sections of the country tend to give a little more as their used car customers have more bucks to throw around.

Don't rely on Ebay or your local area or the forums. Advertise it your self if you want to sell...or find a dealer who will work with you on a trade for a new car.

Plus It helps if you own your ride out right and hold the titles as I do.

Well I'm glad it worked out for you. As I said I have the identical car as you except for the Z51, I also got a awesome deal as I am good friends w/ the owner of the dealer I bought it from and I paid true cost after all the BS and Hold back and so on. I also own my car 100% and hold the title.

Enjoy your new vehicle!
