Okay, I've seen the post about widening the wheels, the problem is that I don't really want to widen them, I would like to keep the stock rubber if possible. What I want is an actual lip on the wheel without a widebody kit. I found a set of wheels that I think would look kick a$$ on my car from www.oewheelsllc.com.

Stock wheels for the C6 are 18x8.5 +56mm and 19x10 +78mm. The ones I'm looking at are +46mm front and +65mm rear. My question is, would these work without any spacers or widebody and not hang outside the car?

There aren't any wheels in the link you posted. Just their homepage. Post up the link of the page that the wheels you want are on.
Call them before you buy. I'm pretty sure those offsets will work with your car, but make sure first.

Sorry, valid point. Either these or with the gunmetal center are what I'm looking at. Going on a Black '08. Seriously considering the Gunmetal since I have future plans with a different hood and possible hood stripe. My main concern is clearance, width wise, since they are the same size as stock but the offset is different. I would call, but I'm afraid of getting hold of someone who is just interested in making a sale and not whether they work or not. That's why I asked the experts first.

I actually looked at those first but I'm hoping to get the Ligenfelter hood and rear then go with a gray stripe down the "stinger" on the hood. That's why I was leaning towards the gunmetal ones. And you don't even want to get me started on the "purse strings".....
