Whats the best way to clean and remove stains from calibers? Can a wax be used on brake calibers with out it ruining the paint?

I pull my wheels off and clean my calipers all the time. I like to use a product called Klasse AIO on them. It has a good cleaning ability and stands up to the brake dust. I usally put a coat of paint sealant over it. I have read that a Carnauba wax with melts and does not stand up to the heat generated by the brakes.
