Cartek Performance Engineering is proud to be a part of the Smokinvette community. Here is some brief information about us:

Located in Garwood NJ, Cartek was started in 1997. Cartek's Research and Development program is what keeps us producing cutting edge performance that is second to none. This is shown through our constant progression toward newer, better, more efficient combinations that keep us, and you, ahead of the competition. Research and development is our biggest asset: our in house machine shop and porting area in combination with our fully automated flow bench allow us to continue to squeeze more and more out of combinations that we produce. For example, flow bench testing on cylinder heads is more than meets the eye here at Cartek, using velocity probes to empirically ascertain the real gains in a port by mapping it out as opposed to using the old school "well hog it out to make it flow better" idea. The bigger the number isn't always better, just look at our track results. Our on track performance speaks for itself.

Obviously you know full throttle horsepower. How are you at under the curve horspower for us street guys. The power band where we live is quite different than full throttle drag racing. I suspect you are good at that as well, just want to hear what you have to say. :thumbsup3:

A large portion of our builds are mainly street cars that are driven to the track... not trailored only track cars driven on the street occasionally.

When we tune, we are taking into account many factors and variables as opposed to only getting the highest dyno number.

The very street cars that you see in our video, have the same tune for the street as they do for the track. Nothing is on the ragged edge.
