hey , i lowered my 98 c 5 2 1/2 in . and it is really bumpy, bouncey. it has 43000 miles on it is this common?

Did you re-align the front end after you lowered it? If not, you need to. Any time you change the height of a vehicle, the geometry of the front end also changes. And while you're at it, it would be a good idea to get all 4 of your tires/wheels rebalanced.

I have heard of this happening on the older C5's.The fix I have heard is replacing the shocks with Bilstein sport shocks.

I hear that if you lower your Vette it will ride difference a little rougher & also heard that a Z06 stock shock has a enough travel foe a lowed Vette.............:patriot:

I think alot of people have heard this as it changes all the geometry of the whole original set up.
