I've only had my 2006 C6 for a little over a month, and will finally get the chance to take it to the 1/4 mile soon! I was curious on what sort of time should I get, its a 6 speed with K&N, Borla Stinger Catback and American Racing Headers.
What sort of 1/4 mile time you think I should be able to get with this set up? I have stock Good Years currently.

I'm going to say somewhere in the 12's. I don't know much about your tracks down there, nor your air, temps ect. I live in a place where we have 5200ft elevation and corrected air ranging around 7800ft to 10,000ft. Yep, What air? Got to love living in the Rockeys.....

There are going to be a few variables that will come into play. First what kind of driver you are is a big one! Then what the temp is, where you live(elevation) What kind of tires and so on! If all you stars align nicely than you should see the low 12's and maybe if you are very good with all the weather help that you can get you might see high 11's:cheers:

heheh I know this track! Good old Bandimere, Douglas is a bit better on some days anyway. Do you go there or Bandy?
Usually you need to add a second to your time for bandimere from sealevel. Running my car for first time tomorrow night looking for mid 13s I hope.
I would think mid 12s as well if you can get it to launch.

www.tunercalcs.com Go to this site, it's pretty cool and it will calculate your 1/4 mile based on a couple different pieces of info.

I'm saying low 12's because a stock C6 can get into high 12's right? Put some sticky's on the back and I bet you pick up some more time! :burnout:

Although we have had a very experienced customer run 11.21 @ 123 with your exact mods, which is the bolt on C5 record btw, my guess is that you will run a 12.3-4 on your first time out. With practice you can drop that to an 11.7-9 in time. Good luck!!
