This should be something I can do with out messing something up. I have the tools and have seen the NGK TR55 and the GN Irridium spark plugs. For the wires I have noticed the GM red plug wires and the MSD, Taylor, and Accel wires.

Which is the best spark plug and wire combo you recommend? Thanks for the help!

Use regular TR-55 plugs and stock GM LS6 wires, best combo by far. Part number for wires is Delco 748MM

Yup, I've had quite a few of the Iridiums cause misfires. The only other wires we use besides stock are the Taylors.

Is there any benefit going with the MSD wires? Are they just for show and no go? Whats the deal, I almost bought those last week and was going to make point of picking up a set thinking it would deliver better spark to my plugs?

If a customer has MSD wires on we replace them with stock ones or Taylors, they're that bad. They fall apart and don't make a great connection onto the plug.

I've been running MSDs for for almost 3 years on my modded C5 with good results and NO problems.

Thats funny because I have been seeing alot of people running MSD and Nology wires and they have not had very good experiences with either brand! I just stick with the stock wires, can't say that I have heard much about Taylors but I will do some research on them.
