Although mine is a daily driver, I keep it clean, waxed, and well maintained. So when we go to Wal-Mart or out to eat, we park out away from everyone else to reduce door chips.

Recently we went to a BBQ place and parked at the very end and outside a window were we could keep an eye on it while dining. During our meal a dimestore :spank: "cowboy" in his new F350 Ford Diesel truck pulls in next to our Vette and parks on top of the white line between us. He opens his door hard and puts a nice 4" gouge in the passenger side mirror housing. He looks at it, says something to his wife...and they both laugh.

I will not tell you what I did to his brand new red truck on our way out...suffice it to say it was more than 4" long and will require repainting several body panels. I should feel guilty for retaliating, but I don't.

Had he not laughed about it, maybe the outcome would have been different. :spank:

A couple of weeks ago a small deer, Bambi, ran out in front of me on my way to work. Killed Bambi instantly. The only thing I could see wrong with my car was that the turn signal on the passengers side was out and not working. Later when I cleaned the car up good I could see that the paint on the nose has cracked from the impact. Still have not taken care of that and will not be able to get after it for at least another month or so. I did however call my insurance company and tell them the day that it happened.

Holy Crap,A car port.That had to do some serious damage

Probably the worst thing Ive had is a semi truck tire that was shredded on the road go over my hood and over the car. There was no way to avoid it. Luckily it only put a few scratches into the clear coat on my front bumper and hood.

It was a cat that was on the hood of my Vette the first day I got it in the garage went int the house & saw that cat & was saying nice kitty but the :soapbox: slid down the hood before I could get him :soapbox: just a few scratches:soapbox: .......................:patriot:

I had my Z for 3 weeks and late one night a deer jumped onto the hood. I was going about 80. As it turned out he did $ 9,000 Damage to my baby. I had everything that was even just scratched replaced. Then I went nuts and had all kinds of goody's installed and now all is good with the world.:thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

I've actually had a rock bounce off the road and hit my windshield and crack it all to hell!!!!
