Been asked to sell your Corvette? This morning at Starbucks I gentleman in I think it was a Land Rover or something like that stopped his truck right behind my car and came up and asked if I was interested in selling my Corvette??

He had caught me so off guard, that I think my response was like "ummm no?". I had to have sounded like a moron!

Has anyone ever asked if you wanted to sell your Vette?

I have a couple friends that joke about wanting to buy my car all the time. People on the street, can't say it has happened. I get waves or thumbs up, but no one has stopped me to ask if I wanted to sell.

:iagree: the only person that has asked or joked about that is a new Chef that came on board with us about a month ago. Nearly every few days he will make a joke about washing the car for me and him and his wife never coming back with my car? :smack:

Watch out for scams. I saw on TV were people have asked someone to sell them their car. They give them some kind of phony bank check or travelers checks and by the time you find out your car is on it’s way to some exotic port of call. And your home empty handed:thud:
