I want to pull a boat how do I attach a trailor hitch to my vette? Its an 85 vette.

All the venders sell them. I've got one to tow my race tires with.

Do you have a steel crossmember running from side to side? My '82 has a "C" shaped aluminum crossmember that is only 3/16" thick. Much too lightweight and thin to ever bolt anything like a trailer ball to. Maybe a TINY trailer just big enough to load a lawnmower in, but certainly nothing much larger than that.

I have a factory one i would sell fairly cheep. It is kind of a pain to get the 4 holes drilled just right for but it attaches to the rear frame very solid.
I could be coaxed into making another one like on mine (i replaced the one i am selling with it) but only if you swear to never tow anything over 1000lbs on it. It isn't rated and i wouldn't want any accidents. My trailer is only about 400lbs empty and about 200-300lbs is all i would put in it. Having some-one make the receiver was a little expensive though.
You will have to find your own camaro or firebird lic. plate frame to put over it and you must remove the rear facia to install it. It is simple to install after facia is off.
