Anyone know why power seats both driver and passenger slide forward when braking hard . Moves about a half an inch then returns to normal back position???

Check the brakets under the seat, all the bolts, etc... Its more of a mechanical issue?

Right, it's a pretty common problem actually. There are hard plastic square spacers that surround the metal "nut" that travels up nad down the worm gear thus moving the seats fore and aft. THese plastic spacers wear down and you get the infamous "rocking seat" probelm.

Send me your EMail and I'll send you the DIY fix if you'd like...

Could you send that DIY to me as well Tstar? Thanks...gotta take the drivers seat out for repair to the leather anyway, so I'll fix that other problem while I am at it

Thanks in advance
