Anyone notice your vette a liitle peppier at night? Could it be the colder denser air or am I just imagining it

Your right. The LSX engines respond well to timing. As the incoming air heats up, the IAT reads it and the PCM pulls timing. It obviously "puts it back" when it cools down.
If you REALLY want to see a different, install a vararam and drive it when it's around 40* out:burnout:

Your Corvette IS faster at night. Because the nightime air is cooler and denser. That's why I vote for no more daytimes.

I agree with the colder denser air, and if it is in the 30-40's it also adds another 1-2# of boost as well, for me. Part of the reason that I only went with the 8# pulley now, because I drive mine all year round here near Chattanooga, Tennessee, as lond as it usually is dry.

Absolutely!!! And my VaraRam makes it even more noticable. And it's even better in the fall and early December before it goes in the garage for the winter.

Check forums for a good used one. I just sold one a few months ago for $210, which is about the going rate. The price is NOTHING compared to the performance you will get. :thumbsup:

One of my best drives in the vette, was past 2am, top down, cool night . . . not many other cars out.
