Do any of you guys know if the tires on the 1990 coupe have to all be the same size? On the rims I have now, the tires are 275/40/ZR17, both front and back. I would like to change my rims from stock to a set of black rims with tires,that are sold for the vette but the tires and rims in the back are bigger than the front.Rims are 18X10.5(rear), and 17X9.5(front).The tire sizes are 295 35 18(rear), and 265 40 17(front). Are these compatible with my vehicle?

You should be good Mike the new 35's are smaller than the stock 40's but you going to a 1" larger wheel, shouldn't be that much of a difference. Post some pics of the new combo when you get them on.

I was going to ask you if you think I should just stick with 17X9.5 rims for all 4 tires, or should I go with 18X9.5. I really wanted to fill out the wheel well with all 18's.The only thing I am worried about is the tire rubbing against the well in the front. I talked to a rep and he assured me that an 18 in. rim and tire would fit in the wheel well. What are your thoughts?

I have no problems with scrubbing...and it really fills up the wheel wells...
